Saber Friday afternoon
Join us for Saber, Friday at 4:00
We’re working on getting Friday afternoon fencing going again, and using it as an opportunity to fence something other than epee.
Friday, May 30, we’ll be fencing saber, join in — we probably have enough gear to get you set up.
Upcoming Fridays could be foil, could be saber — who knows? You should confirm on Thursdays that it’s definitely happening, but all are welcome if we are.

USA Fencing membership renewals open June 1
A reminder that our club’s insurance requires that all fencers be USA Fencing members.
Starting June 1, membership renewals for the 2025–26 USA Fencing season will open — conveniently aligned with the regional events registration date.

Equipment recommendations from German Fencing Gear
Jens and Leticia of German Fencing Gear put together a guide with some recommendations for fencing gear — shown in that graphic above, download a PDF here.
You can also browse their site and choose your gear there. If you have any questions about sizing or anything else, or want other recommendations, send Jens an email.
Please ensure your USA Fencing membership is current
Please make sure that your membership at usafencing.org is current — the club’s insurance requires that every fencer is a USA Fencing member, all that’s required is an Access Membership to fence at the club and at club competitions.
