No class/bouting on the Fourth and other updates
No class or open bouting Thursday
We’ll be canceling classes and open bouting for the Fourth of July holiday. If you’re interested in fencing sometime Thursday day or evening, send an email to Jack.
Beginner class is on for tonight, and we’ll be back to regular schedule next week.
Coach Jorge moving to Albuquerque
We’ve received word that Jorge will be moving to Albuquerque for rehab. We’ll share more information as we have it.
Summer Nationals Underway
USA Fencing’s Summer Nationals are underway in Columbus right now. From NMFF:
Amelia had a tough pool this morning and didn’t advance to DEs.
Pablo and Lachlan will be competing in the Y14 Epee July 4 at 8:00.
Brady will be competing in the DIV II Epee July 5 at 3:00.
Don took second place in the Vet-80 Men’s Epee yesterday and just won the Vet-80 Men's Saber today; he competes in Vet Foil July 4 at 9:00 and Div III Epee July 7 at 8:00.

Results are posted, looks like pretty much realtime, at the USA Fencing website, and they also post photos and some coverage at the USA Fencing Facebook.
Best of luck to all our teammates!

Summer Camp registration open — help us spread the word
NMFF is offering day camps for ages 8–13 with or without previous experience. Students learn the fundamentals of fencing, including footwork, offensive and defensive actions, and proper equipment use.
Experience has shown us that most attendees come to us by word of mouth. We’re getting a late start so please share this information with anybody who may be interested:
» Register for July 15–19
» Register for July 29–August 2
Register for July 20 tournament at NMFF
We're running an Open Mixed Epee in the morning, and E & Under Mixed Epee and Y14 Mixed Epee in the afternoon
Santa Fe July Jamboree
Saturday, July 20
Open Mixed Epee at 9:30; E & Under and Y14 Mixed Epee at 1:00
» Register at AskFRED
» Register at GoMotion:
Open Mixed Epee
E & Under Mixed Epee
Y14 Mixed Epee
There are two parts to registering for an NMFF tournament, the AskFRED registration gives us our count and participant information, prepaying at GoMotion helps speed up the check-in; we will also accept registration fees at the event, but prepaying is a big help.

You might have received an email already, renewal for the 2024–2025 season starts July 1 at usafencing.org
