The first release coming off of fresh hop season is "Bombadil Bright IPA":
Bombadil is absolutely packed with huge tropical, stonefruit, melon and passionfruit brightness! This stunning IPA is light in body, eminently drinkable and finishes clean and crisp. This beer celebrates our love of all things Tolkien at MBW! 6%ABV. Hops: Chinook, Strata & Mosaic. Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo!
The 'winter warmer' release is our Wee Heavy, "Scotland The Brave", which celebrates our head brewer's Scottish heritage. Here's a little backstory:
"My mother was born in a small town outside Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to the US when she was just eight years old. The stories of crossing the Atlantic with my grandparents, entering Ellis Island, witnessing the Statue of Liberty and making a brave new life for themselves has always been inspiring to me. This special brew commemorates and honors all those who have left their homes behind to make a better life for themselves and their families." - M. Kora
Brewed with 100% Scottish Golden Promise malt and chocolate malt and Scottish yeast. Flavors are malt-forward with a rich, chocolaty biscuit-like complexity. In classic Montavilla fashion, this winter warmer is eminently drinkable but also deceptively potent as it finishes medium-dry and is not cloying. 7.7% ABV
And last but certainly not least is our Award Winning "Peregrin" Palo Santo Wood Aged Porter. Here's some details:
PEREGRIN PALO-SANTO AGED PORTER **SILVER MEDAL WINNER @ BEST OF CRAFT BEER AWARDS 2023**
This limited-edition strong Porter is chocolaty, deceptively smooth for its strength, and finishes dry. Aged on Peruvian Palo Santo wood, which imparts aromas and flavors of coconut, mint, cedar and incense. This beer benefits from warming in a glass and will also age well when stored properly. 6.8% ABV
