This collaboration has been a long time coming and we're stoked to finally present SPACEDOG! We teamed up with our very good friends at Lucky Lab Brewing and put together a brand-new west coast IPA that you gotta get your paws on. This IPA is light in color, medium in body & bitterness and packed full of "fruit salad" goodness from a ridiculous amount of Galaxy, Simcoe and Citra hops (think passionfruit, peaches, grapefruit and guava...hooo wee!). 6.5% ABV
The Lucky Lab was one of the first breweries to serve our beer as a guest tap at their Barleywine Festival back in 2014. MBW had not even opened yet, but the Lab saw promise in us and we eventually became fast friends with their brewers: Dave, Ben, Casey and Martin. All sharing a love of pet companions (and beer), it seemed like a collaboration was bound to happen one day. Many thanks to Gary Geist, co-owner of the Lab, and their brewers for helping this collaboration finally come to fruition. Real friends making real beer...it's a beautiful thing!
SPACEDOG is available TODAY on draft and in cans at MBW, and all three Lucky Labrador Brewing locations (NW Quimby, SE Hawthorne & Multnomah Village).
