CONCUSSION IS BACK!
Pale and Munich malts supply a firm malt backbone while Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy hops smack you upside your noggin with a dank, mango-heavy, citrus and passionfruit wallop! Brewed as a double IPA, but with what we call a "more humane" touch. Dry, eminently drinkable yet mighty. 7.7% ABV - available in cans and on draft at MBW 11/22/24.
A little history regarding this beer brand:
It's been over 8 years since we first brewed a big IPA we called "Concussion". It was big and burly and suited for the long rainy winter in Portland. The beer went through several iterations back in the day including an Imperial version and even a Triple IPA version for the Holiday Ale Fest. This year's revival version is less malty, not as bitter as the original and uses WAY more hops in the finish for some incredibly huge fruit-forward aromas. Gotta say, this is our favorite version so far so make sure you get your paws on some!
