We got together with Todd from East Glisan and brewed some beer recently! You know those guys over on Glisan Street make some awesome pizza pie, but when it comes to putting a beer recipe together, they're pretty good at that too. Michael and Todd are both original series Star Trek fans, so we picked "The Trouble with Tribbles" episode as the basis for our recipe inspiration.
"Fat Tribble Session IPA" is a light beer for the warmer weather that we're starting to experience more and more. Brewed with pale malts and 10% triticale, which is a hybrid grain of wheat and rye. Some creaminess and spiciness comes from the Triticale. We dry-hopped this beer with Horizon, Cascade and the beautifully floral Crystal hop.
