• Tynwald votes to release £2.5m in funding for project.
• The chair of the Douglas Bay Tramway Heritage Trust says she’s ’thrilled’ Tynwald voted to restore the tram track to the Sea Terminal. £2.5m in funding will be released for the Department of Infrastructure scheme.
• It will see the track finally completed along the length of Douglas Promenade.
