• Website founder urges customers to be wary of deals that seem too good to be true.
• The head of a local online marketplace platform says the company is having to deal with attacks from an increasing number of scammers.
• Chris Kelly founded Listit.im with his wife Tash following the closure of Manx Telecom’s classified service.

• A bank which announced it was closing three Island cashpoints has applied for two replacement machines in the capital.
• Barclays has applied for planning permission to replace ATMs on Victoria Street in Douglas.
• The company says it also wants to remove a night safe and refurbish the cashpoint frontage with illuminated hoods.

Woman sees sex discrimination case dismissed

• A woman's had her claim of sex discrimination against an Island pharmacy thrown out.
• Danielle Weston-Ford took the case against Kingsley Muti to an employment tribunal claiming unfair dismissal, but chair Douglas Stewart couldn’t consider her case because she hadn’t worked at the company for 12 months.
• She also alleged she’d been treated differently to male colleagues, but the tribunal said that claim was misconceived.

• The National Sports Centre has issued a reminder about the rules in place at The Bowl.
• It says anyone who has not paid to hire the facility is not allowed on the pitch and users who climb on seats, vandalise toilets, hang from canopies or leave litter will also be asked to leave.
• The NSC is also reminding parents to speak to their young people about respecting the facility and its rules.
