Half Edge with Nick Kagame

Half Edge returns tonight, with sweet pal and excellent DJ, Nick Kagame. It's gonna be a joyous and intimate one and I'm extremely excited :)

We'll be taking things through in the basement at Soup from 10-4. RA link is here, or it's a fiver on the door.

Half Edge Tapes

I'll have some of these with me! Very very satisfying putting the tapes and the inserts and the cases all together and they're looking and sounding wicked. Partisan NYE !

Some of you will remember the last Half Edge party in Feb 2019 was at Partisan with Bruce. It was the week of both our birthdays and I have incredibly fond memories of drinking prosecco in the booth with Larry and Alex T, without a doubt two of the people that influenced me most as I was figuring out what kind of DJ I wanted to be. Especially grateful for these memories as it was the first and last time Alex was able to get over to Manchester for a Half Edge event and at a point while I was feeling anxious and unsure of myself he was on hand to set me right.

A lot of my best memories full-stop have been at Partisan, but my favourite ever NYE was the night Alex played UKG between Sofie K, aya and boygirl, so it feels slightly strange, extremely nice, and quite emotional to have been invited down this year to join this lovely line up :)
