I'm so excited to be back in the club really soon with an old friend and wonderful DJ, marjai, who's popping over from Leeds for an all-night party raising funds for Partisan. All the details below:

Half Edge w/ marjai (Friday 15th December)

Half Edge returns to Partisan, with a fundraiser for the collective, following our joyous reunion with Bruce earlier in the year. This time we’re joined by the resplendent marjai, a pillar of Leeds’ club culture and a DJ who is very very much on the rise, with a dizzyingly eclectic approach that easily traverses the connections between experimental styles for the club and far beyond, pop and the prism-pushing frontiers of fwd bass music. I’ve known marjai for many years at this point and they were in attendance at the first Half Edge x Partisan linkup back in the Cheetham Hill days. In the last year they’ve shut down High Hoops at The White Hotel, with one of my favourite sets all year, and more recently played a closing set for Accidental Meetings in Bristol, a crew I low-key idolise and surely one of the most exciting interventions in DIY music in recent times. We’ll be doing the thing from 11 to 6am, 15th December. Hope to see your lovely faces.
