I did it fam. Some 6,500 words later, the initial draft for The Spirit of a Galaxy Game is done.

Also the first editorial pass with comments is complete. There will undoubtedly be more edits as I read the script out loud, but I think I can start recording this sucker very, very soon.

I am hesitant to put a new target release date/deadline. Real life work has changed up and that is shifting to my utmost priority. I'm still chipping away, obviously, but with uncertainty ahead I don't want to plant a flag in the ground for release yet.

Plus, my essay-only channel still cannot take on the handle I want, despite changes made a month ago. Bit by bit; piece by piece.

I am so happy to have this script done though. It feels like the hardest part is complete. I am excited to share it all with you, hopefully soon.

I think I'll share a neat process I used in my script writing and research in the next letter.

P.S. - Nintendo officially announced the Switch 2 while I was writing this letter and it totally derailed me for a spell. 😅
