Pilgrimages is Going to Can*Con
Copies of Pilgrimages are now for sale with Cactus Press! Buying a copy is your ticket for a journey through Scottish history and folklore that will take you through the Outer Hebrides. I’m so proud to to finally share it with everyone.
Each copy is $10 with shipping varying according to country. If you haven’t been able to buy a copy directly from me, now’s your chance to get one and support a small press that has been putting out some outstanding chapbooks.
I have also ordered more personal copies, so if you do know me and wish to pay me directly, I should have the copies in about a week.
Can*Con Schedule!
Today, I would like to share an exciting announcement. I will be bringing copies of Pilgrimages with me to Can*Con in Ottawa from October 17–19!
Can*Con will be held at the Brookstreet Hotel (525 Legget Dr, Ottawa (Kanata), ON).
I’m participating in several events, including a panel and a book signing!

An adult pass for Can*Con for Sunday goes for $40 and includes the whole day, including the event on Montreal speculative poetry I’m hosting with Jerome Ramcharitar and Samara Garfinkle.
An adult pass for the whole weekend is $95 and will grant you access to a weekend of fun and informative panels that bring writers and publishing industry professionals close together.
I’m also really stoked to meet this year’s Guests of Honour, Kate Heartfield, Premee Mohamed, and Stephan Kotowych.
This is the first Can*Con in which I can fully call myself an author, in the sense of an author with a product, an actual book, to sell. It’s going to be a memorable one for me. I hope to see you there!
“The Reindeer Game”
I published a new short story this month! It’s a horror flash fiction piece out with Flash Phantoms called “The Reindeer Game” and is free to read.
If you love Christmas but with spooky vibes and are a fan of Christopher Lee’s Wicker Man (or, God forbid, the Nicolas Cage version), you’ll love “The Reindeer Game.”
