A long list

Hello everyone,

The week before last, I sat down and tried to write one of these, and it didn’t really work out. I found the writing a bit awkward and stilted, and it felt like I should just leave it a day or two.

I’m at a point where I’m very tired from working with students. It’s ALMOST the end of their year, and as they get more ratty and bratty I get a bit more worn out. BUT I only have FOUR days left. So I’ve just been riding the tiring two weeks out and, all things considered, this was a great term of work. Genuinely a good balance and not too exhausting, until the last week. But that’s more accumulation of burning the candle at both ends.

BUT! There is so much to share.

  1. I released Tall Poppy’s FIFTHTEENTH book for sales

  2. I scheduled all workshops for the first half of 2026

  3. I am hosting a photobook fair in 2026 in Melbourne (and we’re open for people to submit to have tables, or events)

  4. I rebuilt my personal website

  5. I am co-hosting the 2026 Australia-NZ Photobook Awards - submissions open on Monday 1st of December

  6. The designer I’m working with completed the first draft of my next photobook. I am now working on adding things to the draft and iterating it slowly.

  7. I hosted a work in progress projection night which was a lot of fun

  8. Every book for 2026 is locked and has gotten pushed along a lot the last few weeks

I am ready to finish at school and get stuck into summer projects, which include book making, cleaning, rearranging furniture, buying baby things and sleeping a lot.

Ciao for now.
