An update on the doings and goings of artist Matt Aytch Taylor, the weirdo who's newsletter you signed up for.

Aytch, Taylor & Co.

The Beginning

Been a minute but thank you so much for your patience and remaining a subscriber despite my noticeable silence!

I’ve had a few things cooking since my last update in May.
So let’s get into it.

The Middle

I’ll be at Genny Con at the University of Rochester on Saturday, October 25, 2025. So if you’re in the area come and say hi!
I’ll have some new merch that’s not available anywhere yet:
I hope you like KPop Demon Hunters, cause that’s what I’ve got new right now.

A photo of three Kpop Demon Hunters Photocards - photocards being the famous trading cards included in most Kpop albums of one or more (usually) idols either being cute or silly. This set are of the KPop Demon Hunters main characters - members of the group "Huntrix". Rumi, Zoey and Mira from left to right. Rumi is covered in demon effluence and smiling with a strained look on her face, based on a similar photocard from Kpop Idol Jeon Somi. The Second is Zoey, smiling and looking cute in a banana costume filter. Based on a real photocard of idol Park Chanyeol . The final is Mira, just her forehead, her eyes looking at the camera. Based on a photocard of idol D.O. from the group Exo. He had just taken a photo of his forehead, it's very funny.
Rumi, Zoey, Mira Photocards based on real ACTUAL photocards from our real world KPop idols i swear to christ its so funny

I am also part of a kickstarter anthology!
With writer Jadzia Axelrod (go give her a follow!):

We’re one of SO many phenomenal artists and writers and creative teams for “Witching Season”! A Witches anthology organized by Kat Calamia, Phil Falco, and Michele Abounader!

Jadzia and I have a story titled, “The Three Pillars,” and features two badass trans witches hunting a monster in a rundown castle!

Two panels: On the left a large panel that stretches off of the page, the landscape in eerie greens, blues, and purples. A figure, silhouetted by the light of a kerosene lamp stands in sharp contrast to the spooky surroundings. On the left side, as if stepping into the panel from the white void of the comic's gutters is a young black woman, a weater and pleated skirt combo with calf-high boots. She wears a pack and gourd banjo on her back. The second panel is the two characters moving toward the interior of the ruins. The Previous panel's silhouetted figure is more apparent now, in a jacket rolled to the elbows, slacks and knee high boots. She has a wide-brimmed hat on her head.
Our two protagonists making their way to a decrepit ruin!

If you wanna see more go support the campaign! We have 28 days left and we’re nearly to the halfway mark!

The End

To cap this all off I’ll say that there will soon be another anthology announcement of which I am merely one of several creative teams, so keep an eye out!
I’ve also been busy with LOTS of pokers in the fire with great meetings and test pages and handoffs that have me very excited for the future.

When I know more you’ll know more too!
