We are delighted to welcome back Gemma, a fully qualified acupuncturist who graduated with a BSc degree from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. Gemma practices an integrated style of acupuncture, drawing on both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the 5 Element approach to create a tailored treatment for each client.

Alongside acupuncture, Gemma is also trained in complementary Chinese medicine therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha.

Areas of passion and expertise include:

  • Fertility & Gynaecology - supporting women through fertility journeys, menstrual health, and hormonal balance.

  • Pain Relief - easing musculoskeletal discomfort, tension, and chronic pain.

  • Emotional Wellbeing - helping with stress, anxiety, and sleep issues, promoting a sense of calm and balance.

With over 10 years’ experience as a spa therapist, Gemma's sessions are not just for pain relief, but for relaxation and restoration.

Why and When to Choose Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a gentle therapy you can turn to whenever your body or mind feels out of balance. Many people find it especially helpful during times of stress, fatigue, or emotional overwhelm, as well as when coping with aches, tension, or disrupted sleep. It can also offer support through fertility and women’s health journeys.

If you’d like to discuss a particular health condition, or want to learn more about how acupuncture could help you, Gemma offers a free 20-minute consultation to explore your needs and answer your questions.

Lisa Chrimes-Watts – Osteopathy/Cranial Osteopathy/Craniosacral Therapist

We’re also thrilled to welcome back Lisa Chrimes‑Watts, a highly experienced osteopath with a Bachelor of Osteopathy with Honours from the College of Osteopaths. Lisa has advanced her skills through courses with world-leading experts, specialising in both structural osteopathy and cranial osteopathy, often combining these approaches to create treatments unique to the patient.

With over 25 years of practice, including teaching diploma courses, Lisa brings extensive knowledge of physical and emotional wellbeing, helping patients recover from acute injuries, chronic pain, and stress-related conditions.

Lisa loves being in nature and being active; she enjoys horse riding, running, swimming, and Pilates. She brings her knowledge and appreciation of fitness to her treatments and is able to provide specific advice on your posture, stress management, and self-care.

She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (IO), ensuring the highest professional standards for her patients.

Why and When to Choose Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is especially useful for back, neck, joint, or muscle pain, postural issues, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. If you’ve found that simply resting has not resolved your issue – osteopathy may be the answer.

An osteopath may use soft tissue massage, joint manipulation, stretching and/or gentle cranial manipulation to release tension and realign the body. Osteopathy can also support overall wellbeing by improving circulation, mobility, and posture, reducing tension, and helping the body function more efficiently.

Why and When to Choose Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that can be chosen when you’re seeking relief from pain, tension, stress, or emotional overwhelm. It is a full body treatment that works with the body’s subtle rhythm - including the nervous system and cerebrospinal fluid. It is so gentle, that it can be especially helpful for babies after birth, children, adults with chronic pain or stress or the elderly. Many people notice improvements in sleep, calmness, mobility, and overall wellbeing.

Lisa is offering FREE 20 minute headache or postural assessments that you can book on our website.

If you know somebody who suffers from persistent headaches, back pain or stress – please forward this newsletter to them as it may be the solution they’re looking for!

Many thanks for reading,
