DEFI PULSE

On-chain volume is holding up better than spot prices suggest, which is worth noting.

The USDC/USDT pair on Uniswap v4 Ethereum topped the leaderboard at $191.9M in 24h volume against just $13.9M TVL — a volume-to-TVL ratio that signals serious capital rotation into stablecoins. People are moving to the sidelines.

The standout anomaly is the Claude/USDC pool on Uniswap v4 Base. It printed $126.5M in volume with a 99,397% 24h price change on $3.1M TVL. Something launched, something moved. Keep that one on your radar.

Base is doing the heavy lifting across the board. Aerodrome's WETH/USDC and cbBTC/USDC pools each cleared over $100M in volume, with the cbBTC pool generating 43,085 transactions — the highest transaction count in the top five. That's retail-scale activity, not whales.

Over on Arbitrum, the USDC/WETH Uniswap v3 pool clocked 63,301 transactions at $60.5M volume — the highest transaction count across all tracked pools. Arb users are active even as prices slide.

TOKEN MOVEMENTS

XRP — down 3.5%. Worst performer in the top 10. No single catalyst, but broader risk-off sentiment is hitting higher-beta alts harder.

ETH — down 2.8%. Underperforming BTC on the day, which continues a trend worth watching. Large WETH transfers flagged in the alert system — 13,691 WETH (roughly $21.3M) moved between unknown wallets, and it fired multiple times.

SOL — down 1.4%. Holding relatively better than ETH, which is notable given the macro pressure.

HYPE — up 1.0%. Hyperliquid is trending on CoinGecko and bucking the broader selloff. Likely driven by continued interest in the perpetuals DEX narrative.

FIGR_HELOC — up 1.0%. The only other gainer in the top 10. Limited context available but worth flagging given the sea of red.

HEADLINE EVENT

A $174.7M USDC transfer between unknown wallets fired as a red alert — twice — in the last 24 hours. The same amount, the same unknown wallets, flagged on two separate occasions. Whether this is exchange rebalancing, an OTC settlement, or something more significant is unclear. Paired with the repeated $21.3M WETH movements, the on-chain alert volume — 564 alerts in 24 hours — suggests elevated whale activity beneath the surface. In an Extreme Fear environment, large silent movements deserve attention.
