I'm not dead yet

I think i’ll go for a walk

It’s been many months so here’s just a list of books worth reading, in no particular order.

/ proto - how one ancient language went global

/ The art of not being governed

/ Grand Hotel Europa - it’s hard to get the Wes Anderson imagery out of your head but its worth it.

/ Revolusi

/ Fragile Cargo

/ The Friend and most of the books by Zander

/ Ransomware hunting team ← the digital world really is protected and maintained by a bunch of misfits.

/ Shanghai (joseph Kanon). All of the books about shanghai with Asian protagonists are, y’know, better. But this is a good one with descriptions so rich i could picture the street corners.

/ I went on a Japanese detective / cozy mystery binge with: Kotaro Isaka & Keigo Higashino, Fuminori Nakamura

/ The Mission Song - This is an older novel but at the moment I finished it, violence kicked off exactly where the book is placed.

/ power and progress

/ The Torqued Man: I don’t know what the hell this novel is but it’s great

/ the savage detectives. 1000 pages on misspent youth, but somehow beautiful

/ The Art Thief

/ Burma Sahib

/ History of the world in 6 plagues & Pathogenesis: a histroy of the world in 8 plagues. Somehow these are two wildly different books and both good.

/ Ordinary Thunderstorms

/ Second Sister

/ everything is tuberculosis
