qPBT Terminal in stock this week, many other updates
Been a while since my last update in October. Stuff's been happening, most of which behind the scenes prep work for a bunch of in-stock projects. This is gonna be a long email, and that's a good thing.
qPBT Terminal will be in stock this week!

After months of getting samples from multiple factories, tweaking many many details, and working with an amazing set of vendors, qPBT Terminal will be available in stock globally this week (starting today May 17 2022). That's right, if you place your order right now, you might have it before the end of the week*.
Terminal is an affordable and fun set of PBT dyesub keycaps. The design is inspired by retro work terminals (hence the name), featuring those iconic CRT displays with orange or green monospaced characters.
Besides the base kit, there's also a (deliciously rough-textured) deskmat, and an artisan produced by Salvun. All in stock**. Can hardly believe it myself. Well actually I can because a ton of work went into orchestrating all this.

* Due to global shipping issues, Terminal might not go on sale with certain vendors until early next week.
** While all vendors have the keycaps in stock, some don't carry the deskmat or artisan.

qPBT?
qPBT is short for EqualPBT, which is the factory I'm working with on this project. Their printing process results in beautiful colors, and razor sharp legends.

Artisans are produced and shipped off to vendors.
GMK Diner
Colors have been approved, no clear ETA on production start.
Deskmat colors have been approved.
Artisans will go into production soon, Protozoa just made improvements to their artisan models to support even more types of switches.

Deskmat colors have been approved.
Artisans: Same as Diner artisans.
Upcoming keycap projects
I've got a handful of qPBT sets in the works. All will be in-stock, and most will be paired with matching deskmats, artisans, and maybe even a knob or 2.
Some previews:

Event Horizon
Received the first prototype of the keyboard, hope to have all the components needed to build it soon. Already made a long list of feedback for the factory, so we'll be ready to order a second prototype ASAP. PCB prototypes will go into production as soon as that factory is able to start working again. Won't show off the full design of the board yet, but here's the plate for the macro column.

That's it for today. Other stuff is in the works, as usual. I'll keep sending out these occasional updates, but if you want faster updates you can always join the MVKB Discord.
Hope you're all well ❤️
