Event Horizon fulfillment updates

Hi! Viz is back!
Not gonna lie, convincing vendors to support the first round of Hi! Viz wasn’t easy. Its design is… polarizing, to put it mildly. But I was very grateful it happened, and then came the extras. And they went. Almost immediately sold out across the world.
Once people saw this set IRL in photos or a colleague’s desk, the vendors and I started getting more and more questions about bringing it back for a second round.
So here we are!
Same legends (Neue) and colors (tennisbal yellow for the caps and swirly metallic for the legends)
Same base kit, but new extras kit! This new kit includes 6 shift key novelties (dark part of the legends double shot and the light part UV-printed, just like the MVKB escape key) and a baker’s dozen relegendables. Pretty spiffy if you ask me!
There’s also a new international kit, which will be available exclusively through GMK’s online shop after production wraps up.

Most vendors are also offering the Salvun-made artisan and deskmat, and I am over the moon to announce this round we’re also offering matching switches.
I’ve been dreaming of doing Hi! Viz switches ever since I had the initial idea for the set, and now thanks to NovelKeys they’re finally available for pre-order right now.
They are recolors of NovelKeys’ Classic Blue switches, a tried and tested switch.

List of vendors:
USA: NovelKeys
Europe: Oblotzky
South Korea: Geon
United Kingdom: Prototypist
South East Asia: iLumkb
China: KBDfans
Canada: Deskhero
A quick update on Event Horizon

For those of you who are not a member of the MVKB Discord, here’s a quick overview of what’s been happening with Event Horizon, and what our plans are for the coming weeks:
Fulfillment of Event Horizons and artisans ordered through Salvun has wrapped up. If you ordered through his shop and haven’t received your board or tracking code, please reply to your order confirmation email ASAP.
Up next he’ll be shipping out Supermassives ordered through him.
After that, he’ll start putting together all the EU and UK boards ordered through Protozoa and ship those in bulk to our friend Jae over at Prototypist (who will be doing final fulfillment from his warehouse in the UK).
For the latest status, and a list of a bunch of FAQ’s, go to the aptly named Event Horizon Status and FAQ page on my Notion. I will do my very best to keep this page updated with the latest status, and to add FAQ’s as they come in.
This project has been a wild ride, but seeing people share their builds and first impressions makes it all worth it.
That’s about it for this one. 2025 went off the rails, 2026 is off to a much better start so that’s good.
In case you missed it, I overhauled my website over the holidays. It should now be easier to navigate, and I also carved out some room for an About page (why you’d care I have no idea) and the upcoming Commissions page.
Stay safe, take a break, go for a short walk, and I’ll see you in the next one!
