For those paying attention, it's been over 6 months since I last sent out a monthly update. Why? I've been prepping over a dozen of projects, all of which will launch over the next year or so.

Here's a quick overview of what's in progress, and a status update of group buys that have ran, in no particular order:

Merch Shop

A bit experimental, but I recently soft-launched the MVKB Merch shop. It's a collection of shirts, hats, hoodies and more, inspired by my own keycap/keyboard projects and mechanical keyboards in general. Best sellers include the Banana Shirt and Banana Hat, and In Thock We Trust / Type True Jacket.

Banana Deskmat

The Banana Deskmat has been produced, and will be delivered to vendors any day now. Barring any crazy long import procedures, I hope to drop it in-stock worldwide early December. Expect another email when that happens.

Terminal R2

I've spent most of the past 6 months looking for a new factory for Terminal. R1 was a huge success, but I felt like the quality could be better. For round 2 I'm going with a completely different factory, and I'm really excited about it. Better print quality, better alignment of legends, better keycaps... In short: These might be some of the best dye-sub keycaps ever (not exaggerating).

The in-stock drop will happen some time early Q1 2023, and will again include deskmats and aluminum artisans by Salvun.

Vanguard65 x Terminal

Keebfront will be raffling a limited Terminal edition of their Vanguard65, which includes keycaps, custom Terminal knob and slider. More info on their Geekhack IC page

Event Horizon

Event Horizon is getting closer, but there are still a bunch of details we need to figure out. The second prototype won Best of Show at the German keyboard meetup earlier this month, and Protozoa and I couldn't be more excited to get it out in the world.

The Founder's Edition (full brass) will be a raffle GB, and the In-Stock Edition (alu body, steel weight) will be an in-stock raffle a couple of months later. More information about pricing etc. to follow early 2023.

Other Upcoming Projects

• Synth: Final round of samples ordered.

• Scanner: Redesigned for PC keycaps. First samples ordered.

• Hi Viz: First samples ordered, also ordered samples for Lo Viz (more on that later).

Group Buy Updates

• Camo: Production should wrap up some time in December. D60lite collabs and artisans have been delivered to vendors, deskmats are in production.

• Command: Production should wrap up in January. Artisans are produced, deskmats in production, Protozoa Command TKL's delivered to vendors. Photos of the latest samples on a Command TKL

• Diner: No clue. Not getting any updates from my lead vendor or GMK. It's frustrating.
