Water!
It’s actually the 15th now. My computer died during the storm, and I got a new one just today. I have spent one hour setting it up…with a right index finger that feels like it is broken and is hampering my ability to type.
Now that I can communicate again, I will try to find a rescue organization who will take the Australian Shepherd mix who is deaf and partly blind.
Then on to getting rid of things and cleaning up, now that we have running water. For what seemed like an eternity, but was a few weeks, we’ve had to gather water from the creek for non-drinking purposes.
I put a sign up: “Water, water everywhere, nor any drop to flush.”
But first, I have to ask Randy Rainbow to parody Dolly Parton’s song “Jolene” with one about hurricane Helene.
