Local Republicans Lying (again)
A current Yancey County commissioner (Sandy Norton) posted publicly earlier that candidate Jim Parlier is not religious. This came as a big surprise to Jim and Tommy James, his pastor at First Baptist Church in Burnsville, where Jim has been an active member for over 30 years.
I didn’t see the post - not sure if it was Facebook or what - but our awesome young Dem communications/graphics guy printed out a rebuttal.
What is it about this lying thing?
Anyway, there are about 200 of you on this Buttondown list, and if you are in Yancey County, please do let your voice be heard. I was planning on calling her out on this lie, but the Nortons’ phone number is unlisted. So - because I will not stand for this, I’m asking any of you who may have seen it on FB or whatever, to please send me a screenshot.
