Good Company
I thought I’d read somewhere that Robin Williams had been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, so of course I DuckDuckGo’d it. He did, but it wasn’t diagnosed until after his death. I decided to do a search for “Famous people who have Lewy Body Dementia.”
There are 20, most of whom I’ve heard of - but only one female. I was surprised at a couple of them:

I felt a connection already with Charles Shulz (creator of Peanuts), as he modeled Lucy after his daughter Meredith, which is my middle name, and he created the strip in 1952, the year I was born. And now there’s another connection. I have to say I didn’t like the strip so much once Snoopy kind of took it over, but if you’ve ever seen the musical You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown you know the best song in the show is Snoopy singing “Suppertime!”. My brother Greg played Snoopy in a college production, and I played Lucy when Mercer University staged it. I really didn’t have to act much - the directors were laughing their butts off during my audition. Fun times.
I’m grateful for the support and friendships I have, and the patience everyone is showing me when I have to ask - for the umpteenth time - the same question. Especially Jim; he gets the brunt of it.
The past two days I’ve meant to just stay outside and work in the yard and the “back-back” - hauling brush, mostly. I intend to go out with clippers and use an eyedropper to poison the invasive stalks (mostly privet) with RoundUp. I’d never spray - the collateral damage would be too great. My mother had told me about how she carefully painted RoundUp on the undesides of invasive leaves. Funny the stuff one remembers. I tried a supposedly eco-friendly version of a weedkiller and it was a bit too friendly; didn’t work.
Back to my YouTube of Robin Williams on Broadway from 2002 - you know how so many standup comedians have one or two bottles of water on a stool behind them? He has about 20 bottles… Rest in peace, Robin.
