Simple ain't easy.
Of course the first step matters.
The next matters more.
I've wanted to be a writer for ages. I've read all about the "best" writing habits and thought about what tools I should use. I've imagined what I could write if only I had the time and the skill. I've corrected myself and pointed out that none of that would matter if I just wrote consistently. I thought I believed it. But I still spent more time fiddling and dreaming instead of — you know — writing.
So I'm here to put words on a page screen.
Regularly.
Consistently.
All I need to do to be a writer is to write. And this newsletter is the path. The most important step is the next step. The next sentence. The next letter.
I don't know what the future of this newsletter will look like. I don't know if it'll be good or bad, interesting or boring. But I know it will be.
