A convention, previews and more!
Welcome to the second newsletter for Crucible of Aether, a mystic-industrial Tabletop RPG that puts player agency first. We wanted to share our gratitude for the support of everyone who followed us here and at PAX Unplugged — and stay tuned to the end for us to give you previews of what comes next for our game!
Follow the Kickstarter!
If you have not already, please follow our project on Kickstarter. Following the Kickstarter not only helps us create the game, but also boosts our game in Kickstarter’s algorithm and helps more people see what we’ve created!
Adventures at PAX Unplugged
We had a wonderful time at our first convention booth ever at PAX Unplugged this weekend — something that would not have been possible without the support of our fans. Special thanks go to Brattle Publishing as well as Matt, Eric and Jill who split the booth with us and helped out during the convention! That also extends to Plus One EXP, who set us up with a table to demo our game in the RPG room on Saturday night.
We’re going to share more photos form the con on our social media pages, but it was a wild whirlwind of a weekend.
Now for a sneak preview:
You’ve seen hints of this tower on our social media already but this is the official reveal! This is going to be one of the backer rewards on our Kickstarter - a book-style dice tower from the lovely folks at Fyre & Ashe!
The tower represents the in-universe monster-hunting manual of the Empire of Odayos, the Odayan Bestiary. Written by Nathaniel Corey and Agron the First Ranger, it contains drawings, diagrams and instructions on how to fell all the foul beasts of the Awakening!
New podcasts coming up and another announcement soon
We’re working feverishly behind the scenes to get our game ready for Kickstarter ASAP and we’ll have a launch date for you all soon. In the meantime we’ve got plenty of podcast content to share and will have a new holiday-themed one shot up this month. Keep an eye out here:
