Library Comic: Mask Up! Enough. A Good Start.

Monday’s comic irritated many and incited a “masks vs. no masks” debate on Facebook and Instagram, where the sites seemed to be pushing it to an audience that was increasingly upset both with me and each other. This wasn’t intended, and eventually I decided that the comic just didn’t work and took it down, though it’s still up on our site. If you want to read the comic and the statement I posted after deleting it from social media, you’ll find both at: http://librarycomic.com/comic/717/

PS: We ran three comics this week, so there are still two below this message.
PPS: Because it would normally be ALA time, all orders of $40 or more of merch through June 30th get a free READ TO LIVE patch..

Here’s a little bonus reading I just stumbled upon, an article from Thursday’s Washington Post: “The black women who launched the original anti-racist reading list” (Spoiler: they’re both librarians.)

Graphic Novel Review: Joe Quinn’s Poltergeist By David Almond, Illustrated By David McKean

Addams’ Apple: The New York Cartoons Of Charles Addams
