Minnesota Calls for Aide (Two Requests That Don't Cost Money & Won't Get You Teargassed)

Hello, all
I know I emailed you recently, but a lot of people have reached out to me, wanting to help the people here in my home state of Minnesota, and not knowing how.
So I have two straightforward, free requests, at least for those of you in the US. One- please call your Senators before Friday. Friday the Senate votes on whether or not to continue to fund the occupation here and elsewhere or not. If the funds are gone, so will the occupation be. This stands whether you’re in a blue state or a red. The bill is genuinely on the cusp of not passing, but we need all the Democrats to hold firm and a couple Republicans to stop wavering and actually refuse- which several are considering!
Also, it would be great if you could mention not appreciating the administration trying to use ICE to interfere in Minnesota’s elections.(Yes, I will provide proof of that claim.) Also- you do not have to tell your representatives which party you tend to align with. It may be worth implying that they are at risk of losing votes they could otherwise have had.
My second request is, unsurprisingly, to ask you to try to get other people to do the same. Mainstream media are really downplaying the conditions we’re under, but people who know overwhelmingly support us. You can see my last email for my own experiences. We need to reach out to people with the truth- both on social media, and off.
To that end, I’ve gathered a master list of impartial news sources about both what’s going on and the implications. And, for your ease of use, I’ve organized them by what type of argument you might think might get through to whoever you are talking to.
Unfortunately, email algorithms do not like emails full of links, so I’m only going to include one link- to an archived list. I encourage you to both keep that newsletter open in a phone tab for easy reference, and even to copy-past the whole thing anywhere you please! No attribution requested or required! Throw that whole thing on your Facebook, in an email to your aunt, your religious organization’s discord group, anyplace you think it might reach people and help others reach people.
Special thanks to my wife/editor who helped with sourcing! Thanks, Pookie!
And thank all of you so much for the care you’ve sent to me. It really does mean a lot.
Someday this will be over and I’ll write you a long juicy email about why I love amnesia stories and what neuroscience says about memory that I wish more amnesia stories understood.
Stay safe,
Lee Brontide
