I just launched a crowdfunding campaign to create a festival of comedy and theater that you can watch from anywhere. I’d love if you were able to join us. You can get a bundle of tickets to three incredible virtual shows for $30. You can get more things for more money. And honestly, I’d love your help.
Art is the thing that keeps us going, y’all. When I am sad, I turn on a D&D show or a song or a comedy video or a movie. And trans art, especially, keeps me going — I need to see happy trans people kissing or laughing or being silly. Rright now there are loud, loud voices that want us to believe that trans folks aren’t real, or are a threat, or something more sinister. But we’ve always been here. And honestly? Transness is a beautiful thing. We are here to show you that rules are fake and existence is what you make it and that embracing your joy and being yourself is WORTH IT.
They cannot kill our joy. They cannot erase it and they cannot outlaw it. We have always been here. This is the JOY WHO LIVED.
So let’s do it—let’s make a festival of art, that features trans folks… for everyone. Honestly?
