Laservision 2026
what even is laservision anymore? also... tickets here before anyone else can get them!
Hello friends from many parts of the world. LASERVISION has grown from me (Laser) trying to figure out my identity during the pandemic after my band could no longer tour—to a 5-person, many-project team that produces incredible shows in LA, films, podcasts, and more!
Last year many things happened, here are some highlights! We…
started producing Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists, an incredible podcast hosted by 4 of the funniest comedians (including new SNL recruit Jeremy Culhane!)
hosted the first the Joy Who Lived, a trans/nonbinary performing arts festival that paid out over $23,000 to trans artists. Donate now to support year 2!
Created our “distribution wing,” and got the film D(e)ad into 100 theaters in 5 countries. And online! You can watch it now!
Honestly — I (Laser) am not the person who works hardest on Laservision stuff anymore. I have a completely different job that I love, and the Laservision team (Alex, Carrie & Adam) are producing so many incredible things. I get to poke my head in for strategy and a couple meetings, but Laservision is its own thing, and I feel so lucky.
ANYWAY. Here’s what’s coming up! (Note: some of these shows will sell out and you’re getting first crack at tickets!)
Jan 14: Roll for Tricksters: A Powwow Heist—we’re producing this liveplay run by Brennan Lee Mulligan with an all-native table. Join in person at USC! Reserve free tickets.
Feb 4: Tough Crowd, a pilot reading by Charlie James at The Elysian (The Vault)!
Feb 14: Katie and Erika throw the perfect (Valentine’s Day) Party—watch in person or online!
Feb 26: Josh’s First Time: Live! Tickets here!
March 8: Dandelion: A queer improv show and short film premiere at The Elysian ft. Vic Michaelis, Ally Beardsley, and more!
xoxo
Happy New Year
