I need your answers
what if we all have matching hats
I am in the studio with my friends Sam and Tony who are the kindest men in the world. Sam is a producer and a personal trainer and an EMT and he’s learning how to drive a sailboat (drive?) — he’s also the kind of straight guy who will call out another straight guy for being a problem to women, and I love him with my whole heart. Tony is sweet and has the voice of an angel and has a superpower of music and I love him even more than Sam. They both have the best opinions and we’re RIGHT NOW working together on songs for our big shows this November!
But speaking of all that…
We are in talks with a very fun filmmaker who is going to direct the Doubleclicks concertumentary (this is a concert video with a documentary, do you get it) — that is, if we can make it happen, which I have faith in! We got a grant of $10,000 (AMAZING) through networking (my goodness!) that will come through the Kickstarter. So now it’s just making the rest of the $30k or so to make the dreams come true.
Which is why I have this question for you…
If you are a person with money to spend on independent art (I know that’s fewer and fewer people these days) — what sort of kickstarter perks would you be interested in?
Firstly, please tell us if you are interested in enamel pins, t-shirts, or tote bags… or something else.. challenge coin? A key? Is that something?
But secondly: we would love to assemble a group of “anchor donors” who can help us out with an over-average pledge for early momentum. Here are some ideas! Please reply to this email and tell me what you think!

Signed DVD or Blu-Ray Packages ($100?)
VIP seats to a LA or Portland show ($250?)
Submit interview questions for the documentary and see some raw footage of us answering them ($300?)
Play D&D with the Doubleclicks (and maybe our very cool friends like Amy Vorpahl?) ($750 for a seat? $1500 for a table?? What feels right?)
Cat keyboard cover of your favorite song ($1200?)
Podcast Launch Package — Laser helps you hone and develop a podcast idea, Aubrey edits your first episode ($2,500)
Signed/decorated ukulele ($1200?) or cello ($so much money)
The Doubleclicks do a show in DC/Boston/another major city ($5,000) — I know this could be a stretch goal, but if you want to make it happen
