What's the latest news in Laser world?
First of all: this a weird personal thing, but I've been on accutane for 3 months and it's cleared up my skin which has made me feel insecure and stupid for... years. It got to a point where I couldn't wear makeup anymore (I'm a boy! I don't wanna!) and I got a doctor to listen to me (probably because for the first time, I was a man and a doctor listens to a man) so I got on accutane. AND IT WORKS! i feel amazing and I like leaving the house for the first time in... way too long. So, congrats to me!
Great timing, cause I have shows coming up!
INDIANA: This thursday, the Doubleclicks are playing at a college called WABASH, and the show is free and open to the public! information is here!
LOS ANGELES: I am producing an absolutely amazing stand-up/comedy show this weekend. it is FANCY, it's all trans, the lineup includes cast members from Queer as Folk, Dimension 20, and generally just the greatest people. PORTLAND: OREGONIANS, my solo show about transgender men through history (and my own life) - is coming to Portland on March 7! I'll be performing it at 11:30 at the Lewis & Clark Gender Studies Symposium (free!), and also - of interest to humans with jobs - at Siren Theater on Mississippi Ave that night. Why not invite a friend? HUH? Why not?
