The Crooked Key is a complete 67,000-word fantasy novel that will appear right here, in serialized form! I'll post a new chapter twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. This is something of an experiment. While my interactive novels, like Pon Para and Vampire: The Masquerade — Night Road, have done well, I haven't published much linear fiction.
Awful term, isn't it? "Linear fiction." But here we are, burdened by the need for clear communication.
This experiment is to see if anyone wants to read a serialized fantasy novel—I sure hope they do. My goal is to reach 100 subscribers after eight weeks. If I can do that, I plan to write a sequel, maybe charge a few dollars for it, and try to make some pizza money off all this hard work.
