A quick plug for the Beacon Litfest
Hello friends,
Next weekend, June 12–15, is the (third, I think?) annual Beacon Litfest. This is a fabulous event that is bigger and better every year. There are panels, readings, parties, and workshops, across the genres of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama. You can buy an all-inclusive pass for the whole thing, or you can purchase tickets to individual events. I’m going to be attending the poetry panel and the fictio/nonfiction/cocktail party extravaganza on Saturday night.
Sunday the 15th is the workshop day—and yours truly will be leading the poetry workshop at 10 that morning. But there are also workshops in writing fiction, memoir, essays, and songs. But the poetry workshop will be the best one OBVIOUSLY.
If you’re local(ish), you really should come! And if you have any writers in your life (besides me!), let them know about the workshops!
I’ve scheduled a few more ORDINARY DEVOTION-related events for the rest of the year, but I’ll share details about those next month. For now, I just wanted to get the word out about the Litfest.
See you there, maybe, I hope?
Kristen
