I skipped the newsletter last month, mainly because I didn’t have much to report other than “still working on Diner Punks.”

News & Updates

• I was really looking forward to getting Diner Punks out this year, but I’ve had to admit it’s not going to happen. It’s been a while since I’ve written a game this large, and I forgot about their tendency to keep growing, so I’ve recalibrated for a 2027 release. The longer version is here if you’re interested.

• Printify (or more likely, their AI) decided to delete about half of the products I had for sale in my Etsy shop. After their shitty “customer service” chatbot proved useless (it was nearly 2 weeks before a human responded), I took down the whole shop and moved to a new printer. I’ve gotten a few items back up for sale, but haven’t had time to restore everything (given the typical monthly sales, it’s just not a high priority).

• When I need a break from Diner Punks, I’ve been working on the Q3E rules for The City of Ten Thousand Daggers and plan to get back to work on the website reorganization soon.
