Just Sit Right Back And You'll Hear A Tale...
Hey everybody,
Just wanted to let everyone know that Castaways & Conspiracies is now on sale Drivethru, itch, Patreon, and Etsy. IPR and Paizo have a slight delay, so it will probably go live there early this week.
In other creative stuff news, I got a good chunk of the QAGS 3E combat section pinned down this weekend and have also posted some new installments of my “The Road to Q3E” series at The Death Cookie.
Sometime soon I plan to cut back some of the world-specific stuff form my Gygax 75 project, The Red Witch of Chapel d’Angoisse, and release it as a Milion-Colored Suns adventure. I hope to get back to work on my various World Anvil world soon since I missed out on Summer Camp.
Reading
I finished Barbarians: From Conan to He-Man, Claude Gaillard’s follow up to the Post-Apocalypse book I mentioned last time. I’ll probably end up paying for a Midnight Pulp subscription so I can watch some of the movies in these books.
I also read The Masque of Forsaken Gods by Clark Ashton Smith. Specifically, I read the version illustrated by Leighton Connor and available here.
Recently Watched
The Bear is ridiculously good. Engaging characters, lots of guest stars, and a really good soundtrack. I can’t wait for more.
KAOS was pretty enjoyable even though it only felt like half a season. I particularly like how the actors played Poseidon and Prometheus.
Currently a few episodes into season 3 of The Umbrella Academy. It’s a solid enough show, but is a little ways down my list when it comes to catching new seasons.
I’ve also watched several movies, but I guess none of theme stood out enough for me to remember them now. Maybe next time.
TYTYVM,
Steve
