• Ok, I actually haven't seen Endgame because I'm trying to get a working draft of Cinemechanix ready in time for DieCon. That's also why I don't have time to write much of a newsletter this week. I figured I could scare some people off with a spoiler-threatening subject line. Let them think I wrote a brilliant newsletter and they missed out on it. We know the truth. 
• The new issue of Leighton Connor's The Electric Team is now available for your buying pleasure.
• Shazam is really good. 
• Game of Thrones is derivative trash, but it's fun derivative trash. 
• Currently reading Infinite Detail by Tim Maughan, a post-apocalypse where the apocalypse is the internet crashing. It's part of the ever-growing Warren Ellis Told Me To Read This collection. 

Word of the Week

Brainfart Press will eventually release a dictionary of words nobody particularly needs to know, tentatively titled (with apologies to Ambrose Bierce) "The Dumbass Dictionary." Here's one of those words:

Proximity Love Interest
A female character in a movie who falls in love with the protagonist for no apparent reason other than the fact that they were near one another for the duration of the film.
