And The Crowd Goes Wild!
Greetings and salutations,
As most of you can probably guess from some of the titles I’ve published with the expectation that people might buy them, I have no idea what the hell people want. So I asked The Devil’s Chatbot to suggest a format for this newsletter based on other successful newsletters from people like me. What it spat out seemed reasonable (and not hugely different from what I’ve been doing), so I’m going to try it. Let me know what you like, what you hate, and what you want to see more or less of.

What I’m Working On
I’ve basically taken the month off from working on Diner Punks, partly because I was sidelined by an infected tooth for a couple of weeks, partly because I was starting to get burned out and needed a break. I used the time to recalculate the schedule, so now I’m planning for an end-of-year release with a Kickstarter around September.
I also used the break to reorganize and clean up the 1000+ posts on my Patreon page so I could switch over to their new format. A ton of these posts are public, and now it should be much easier to find stuff that’s relevant or interesting to you. Check it out here.
Lastly, I’ve been thinking about how to put together Q3E rules for The City of Ten Thousand Daggers. Since it’s such a big, sprawling mess of a setting, doing a traditional rulebook would be a huge task, so I’ve decided to do sort of a basic rules starter kit with character creation, spellcasting, and other absolute necessities, then build on it from there. These rules (which will be Free/PWYW releases) will be very DIY, with minimalist rules that assume you can use the Q3E SRD to fill in the rules gaps and find the setting info on the C10KD World Anvil site. There’s a sample showing how stripped down these rules will be here.
From here on out, the part of the newsletter that isn’t just news and shameless self-promotion is only available to subscribers. If you’re not already part of this elite group, click the button below to join (it’s free, you cheap bastard).
