Questing After Earth's Poetry
Honing In with Rebecca Maillet
I’m excited to share with you my conversation with Rebecca Maillet, someone I’ve known and admired for over a decade. When I recorded this episode with Rebecca, I felt moved and inspired—not just by Rebecca’s tender stories and her beautiful way of rendering them, but also by the true joy and care she brings to her personal and business journeys.
Rebecca (she/they) is a queer, working class, first generation farmer / floral designer / and a seeker of Poetry in its myriad forms. She is the Founder & Creative Director at Many Graces Farm & Design based in Hadley, MA, and a co-owner of Sub Rosa, a Botanical Lounge & Flower Shop located in Northampton, MA. Rebecca lives in Western MA on the unceded land of the Nipmuc & Pocumtuc people with her beloved partner & their dog, Goose.
I promised on the episode that I would share a few photos of the florals that Many Graces did for our wedding in 2022! You can see those photos, listen to our interview, and read the show notes for the episode here.
Take care and talk soon,
Dr. Kate

Excellent! I absolutely loved when Rebecca shared that stopping for 20 minutes to watch a praying mantis was so much rewarding than the bottom line. ❤️
