Times is Hard
Hey, everyone. Not a whole lot to report, just wanted to send an email letting everyone know what’s going on.
The war against the groundhog has been somewhat successful. We have successfully trapped and relocated two groundhogs, but we know there are at least two and possibly three more out there. They’re going into hibernation so any trapping will have to wait until next spring but hopefully my spouse’s garden won’t get raided next year.
As for other general life things, I’ve been very busy. Work has been offering a lot of overtime and I’ve been taking as much as I can to help build up savings and hopefully try to pay down debt. Times is hard and they’re probably only going to get harder so everyone make sure to take care of yourselves.
I’ve also been busy with school. I had hoped this would take less than a year but it turns out it’s going to take longer than that. Which is frustrating. But once I get past a couple of semesters filled with a lot of administrative nonsense I should finally get to grips with all this math people are talking about. I hear it’s very abroad.
Despite all of this I have been writing, just not quite at the same pace as I was earlier. I’ve been working on a magical-girl themed idea I’ve had kicking around in my head for a while just to have something to work on. Don’t worry, the third Silas & Bundersnoot exists and I don’t intend to abandon it, we’re just going to have to go through some financial straits for a bit.
