Economics is Made Up
Hello, friends! I know it’s been a bit since I’ve sent out an update. There hasn’t been a ton to update recently and a significant part of that has been schoolwork. I started a macroeconomics class back in November and the class wanted me to write a 500-750 word essay every week and while it’s not that onerous there’s only so many ways I can say capitalism has failed, you know? Also it borrows heavily from my writing spoons. Add that on top of my having to write for an English Composition class and you can imagine there’s been only a little bit of energy leftover for creative writing.
All that being said, I have been working on some creative writing, mostly a little bit on the weekdays. I’m still working on what I’ve titled Magical Girl project, it’s currently at about 20,000 words. (I’ve arbitrarily picked 50,000 words as a good goal because it’s a decent length I think.) For fans of Silas & Bundersnoot don’t worry, the draft is safely saved on both computers and a USB drive. I’m currently waiting on my financial situation to improve a bit so I can get editing and cover art done.
Anyways I hope you’re all staying safe and warm during the holiday season. I will endeavor to try to see the sun at some point in the next few weeks.
Your friend in books and trains,
