What flag do you need to see?
As many as 10,000 Los Angelenos marched this past Sunday under flags of all colors; rainbow, Stars and Stripes included. Apparently those flags made them invisible.
Because all I’ve seen, all you’ve seen, are the people around LA county who did takeovers and burned Waymo’s (as happened in San Francisco last year) or the ones who looted a CVS (not to be confused with these Philadelphia Eagles fans.)
And yet, we may still owe these rioters our freedom.

It’s thanks to those angry people that comfortable people are thinking about the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, who were seized from their places of work by heavily armed agents of a man so vile and vicious as to provoke a naked statement of fact from an otherwise milquetoast ABC TV reporter.
If you want to know what it means to live in a free country, it means knowing the rule of law will be applied to all, not just the poor and powerless.

I am writing you today from San Jose – they really have to do something about all these Spanish city names; it might give people the wrong impression who is welcome.
And “on my way to San Jose”, I got a ride to the airport from a man named Felipe.
From the moment I said his name, he clocked me, and so we spent the rest of the ride talking in Spanish.
His first question to me was: “Have there been ICE raids here?”
I hope you understand: the fear that “normal Americans” are now feeling is what my neighbors have been feeling for years. Welcome to America! The land of opportunity.
He then asked me if it’s true that Trump raped children as per Elon Musks’s announcement last week that our president is in The Epstein Files.

I had started to write a very different letter this week, about the sad decline of Silicon Valley; from a place where new ideas are put into action to a decrepit bastion of lazy retreads like “bring back monarchy.”
But instead I’ll remind you that “we, the people,” of the United States of America, kidnapped a gay hairdresser and then sent him to a gulag in El Salvador – where the bitcoin president is now arresting his critics without a worry.
Happy Pride!
See you outside on June 14th.
