A few weeks ago my father was discharged from the hospital again and I brought him to his room in our home again because there was no other place that would give him the treatment that he needs and deserves.

During that time, he’s improved dramatically. Primarily because his meds have changed but also because his heart has changed. He has taken responsibility for himself and his actions and his health. It’s a miracle to behold, as they say.

Taking care of him is still a job but then life changes and we take on new responsibilities all the time.

Like our having to restore American democracy. Before this fascist regime kills it, one lie at a time.

Today, as you all know, the MAGA regime killed Renee Nicole Good.

She was exercising her duty as a concerned citizen, standing in front of the phalanx of soldiers that would pour out of tanks; masked marauders (possibly even bounty hunters) who have been sent into Minneapolis to get footage as they terrorize entire neighborhoods. All for our fascist regime.

And after one of their goons killed her in cold blood, they dared call her a domestic terrorist while lying about the murder – a crime that her neighbors caught on camera.

The very cameras they want us to be afraid to pull out.

Did she break into an ICE facility or a courthouse?

No, they killed her for standing in the middle of a street making noise.

Who are these people who cannot handle being taunted? Who are these people who cannot handle a civilian exercising their right to protest peacefully? Who instead of detaining a protester kill her?

Who are these people who are telling us it’s illegal to film their actions as they purposely terrorize people with military invasions that yield nothing but civil rights violations (cf. Chicago).

If Renee Nicole Good demanding that her government be accountable for its actions makes her a terrorist then so am I and probably so are you. So is anyone who dares demand that in America our government follow the law without favor or prejudice.

But it’s Epstein all the way down with these motherfuckers. The law for thee but not for me. Except they don’t even follow the law. It’s might makes right said Stephen Miller to ABC, explaining why Donald Trump can just take what he wants, kill who he wants, whenever he wants.

Ever since we heard Trump brag that he grabs women by the pussy and gets away with it because he’s a star, we’ve all known that we have a rapist in charge.

And now he’s surrounded by the dregs of society, men who take bribes, outright thieves and lunatic lickspittles.

They’re threatening to invade a NATO country because they can.

We are so very, very, very far past the Rubicon.

Every LinkedIn should be lit up like it’s the goddamn first week of the COVID pandemic. Like it’s the middle of a fire. Because what they are burning, my friends is the founding promise of this country. And if we let them destroy that charter, we will have destroyed America with them if not for them.

Yet, remember: it can always get better.
