bonus: billion dollar idea
An app that scrapes the transcripts of YouTube videos, so that I can read them in 20 seconds instead of watching for 10 minutes.
The app also summarizes the videos and, since it’s 2025, it allows me to ask questions so I can home in on the parts I’m interested in; as if talking with a librarian.
If the video has any important visuals, the app would take a screenshot and place it next to the relevant parts of the transcript. I also want the creators to be compensated, so the app would do this with any ads.
I’m not sure what you’d call this incredible productivity boosting tool but, since it contains all this information, quickly accessible, maybe the name could be like “Warehouse”? But like a classy word. So, maybe the French word for a place where many things are stored?
