Friday Summary 21/05/2021
Good (Saturday) afternoon!
My website has now been updated to include a calendar of upcoming events, and you can check it out, as well as check out contact information for commissions, appearances, and anything else.
There’s an extremely exciting week coming up, because it’s my birthday on Sunday May 30th, and I’ll be doing a talk on the Minotaur as part of Doctor Sam Hirst‘s Romancing the Gothic! It’s called Trapped In The Labyrinth: The Minotaur as Trans and Disabled, and it will be going from 8:30PM GMT for about an hour. It’s going to be a discussion of modern interpretations of the classical minotaur, especially from trans and queer perspectives, as well as disabled and chronically ill ones, and the way in which the minotaur resonates with those audiences.
You can sign up for that and other Monstrous May events with Romancing the Gothic here!
Only a few new works this week, because one of them is a whole novella!
