Three Days to Studio!? (and a sneak preview!)
Spring is sprung and the sap is flowing and the chickadees are singing their spring song, and even if the cold comes back, it’s too late to stay!
The band and the chorus each have only one rehearsal left; it’s too late to cram, but the calm I’m feeling is evidence of all the hard work we’ve done so far. Wednesday is day one, which is me, solo in the studio.
The fundraiser is a little under half funded, but as I wrote last time, I think I can “buy it out” and still come out okay after the Kickstarter fees.
Speaking of practice… here’s a little preview we recorded at last week’s chorus rehearsal!
That’s all for now. You won’t hear from me again until the album is ready to release, I’m ready to invite you to the release P A R T Y!
Thanks for all your patience, your support, and your encouragement.
The sea rolls on indifferently,
But a wake’s a mark upon the sea— “Lament for a Lost Ship”
Love, light, and song.
