Jennifer Wood's Folk Music Update September '24
In August, I never think I’m going to be ready for fall. But as the season turns, so subtly at first, with colors deepening into green before revealing the million shades of yellow and red yet to come, the turn of each day brings a new facet into view, and once again I am guided gently into acceptance of the peculiar tilt of our little ball of dirt and gas and insistent life as it waltzes around the sun.
The first changes I notice are the the things I don’t see, or don’t hear: the songbirds that have slipped silently south, leaving the buzzing of the chickadees and the brays of the blue jays to call across the wide open airwaves.
And the sounds of us singing!
I’ve Only Got One More Concert On The Calendar

I really hope you can make it to this one — I’d love to see you there, and I think you’ll be blown away by the people who share the stage.
This (and all my concerts) is an outdoor show, so bring a chair and dress for the weather. Protect yourself and others and stay home if you’re not feeling well.
New Album in 2025!
I’m going into the studio in January, so keep your ears open for a release date! Thanks to the kind and skilled folks at Softcult Studio for helping me find the right fit.
Thank you all for the gift of your presence and the sound of you singing the chorus.
Love, light, and music.
