Jennifer Wood Folk Music: Album Kickstarter Update
I’ll be sending these updates out bi-weekly from here out, until I get into the studio on Feb 26. So, fear not, I promise not to flood your inboxes too badly.
Thank you, each one of you, so very much, who’ve already jumped in to help get this thing off the ground. If you’re still on the fence, please stop by the official Kickstarter campaign page and take a look around.
It's early days, yet, but somehow it feels like the time is ripping along and the studio dates are just around the corner.
The music is shaping up. The list of tunes with a "studio ready!" star next to them gets longer. The musicians have played through just about every song they're going to play, at least once, and it's already pretty tight.
The choir is sounding sweet. We missed last week's practice due to some being out with COVID, but we have three more rehearsals coming up, and we're still pretty close to on track. And, there's a new singer in the choir with a voice that, just, wow! I look forward to hearing what he does on his own, one day soon.
In the meantime here's a sample of the artwork available at the $75 level. This particular one stays home with me, and each painting that I create for you will be unique, but this hopefully gives you some sense of my style.
I'm so excited to share this music with you. Even the act of practicing, reciting these poems, putting them to song, lifts me up each day. And I hope that one day soon they'll do the same for you.
Thanks for reading, and thank you for your help!
Now, it's back to rehearsal for me.
Love, light, and song
