Sometimes when a TV show or a movie gets something wrong, it’s not a mistake. It comes out of limitations of the medium, out of audience expectations and human psychology. Or, of course, sometimes it’s just the budget. They’re doing their best.

So I’m going to talk about a few things that are intentionally “wrong” because of the way things work…or an expected trope.
