Updates and Musings

A harbor breakwater with a few people on it and a lighthouse on the end. It is sunset and the sky is red and gold by the horizon, and the water reflects it almost pink.

It may still technically be winter, but it was warm enough to sit outside (with a jacket on) and eat Mexican food this week. That feels a little spring-ish.

Making spring plans, too. Two weeks until AwesomeCon! We are at table B15, which faces other authors, so we won’t have last year’s ceramic problem (the ceramics were gorgeous to look at, though). Author’s Alley seems a little smaller this year. Hopefully that reflects applications, not policy…

Approved my copyedits for “Foundling” this week, which will be in Manawaker Studio’s Home Constellations anthology about science fiction families. Very much looking forward to sharing this one with the world.

About to get my Nebulas nominations in. Hugos are due in another month so I’m going to see if I can get a bit more read.

Other than that, life is moving on much the way it should. Lots of gaming planned this weekend!
