The Sweet Smell of Spring...
Okay, not quite yet, but it is going to be in the 50s next week, which is sit outside and eat taco weather for me. Maybe not for you, but for me it is. Of course, that soon means cherry blossoms, which makes it ‘wear a mask when going outside’ weather for me.
They’re so pretty, it’s a shame they keep trying to “kill” me. (It’s not that bad an allergy, but it’s annoying enough).
Almost done with the first (full) editing pass on P.J. Coffey’s “Crafting Cultures, Heritages and More” - a very interesting book to help you design both human (and elven and dwarven) cultures and other fantasy species, PC monsters, you name it. I don’t have a release date on this yet, but it’s going well. I have 5 chapters left, but the bulk of the book is done.
Looking for my next editing project…I don’t just do RPGs, although that’s my specialty. I also do copyediting for fiction, preferably science fiction, fantasy, or erotica. (No religious fiction and horror is case by case…I adore some horror, but do have a limited tolerance for certain things).
Almost finished with the rewrites on the chapter for Broken Straits, too, so I really am going to be needing more work. I do have some short fiction calls to write for. And I promise I’ll get Council out. Maybe somebody needs to light a fire under me on that one.
Kinda hoping for spring, though, as it was so cold yesterday, by my personal standards that is. Midwesterners are going to laugh…but also probably agree that 50s is reasonable eat tacos outside weather.
